The focus of the talks on Thursday, May 6, 2021 will be the bilateral relations between Switzerland and the Holy See as well as the Swiss Papal Guard, whose numbers have been increased from 110 to 135 militiamen in stages since 2018.
This year, 34 new recruits from all over Switzerland will take the oath of office.
