From ch Foundation a journalistic podcast on federalism

A project of the Bernese Stiftung will thematize the innovative force of the division of powers in Switzerland, but also the difficulties and challenges it faces

The ch Foundation is launching a journalistic podcast that will thematize the innovative force of Swiss federalism, but also the difficulties and challenges it faces.
Topics will include political rights and the fight against the COVID19 pandemic. The ch Foundation is looking for a production team to carry out the project.
The ch Foundation aims to develop offerings that illustrate in concrete terms how the Swiss federal political system works.
To this end, it has decided to launch the “ch Podcast” with the support of a broad-based promoting body and the Federal Chancellery, which will act as co-publisher.
The ch Foundation is looking for a professional, multilingual production team to carry out the project. Work should be completed by the end of 2021.

From the political rights of yesterday to the fight against the pandemic of today

The Podcast ch, broadcast in three languages and composed of at least nine episodes of 15-25 minutes each, will have to thematize the diversity of federalism and illustrate it by taking as its starting point the differences between the cantons in the development and extension of political rights (e.g. women’s right to vote, right to vote at age 16, etc.).
It will also address the issue of federalism in combating the COVID-19 pandemic from a journalistic perspective. The main goal is to impart knowledge about Swiss federalism to young people, young adults and interested persons.
The project can draw on the experience of a wide-ranging supporting body, which includes alliance F, Inclusion Handicap, the Federal Commission for Migration, the FSAG, the Cantons/State Chancelleries of Berne, Ticino, Vaud and Basel-Stadt, the General Secretariat of the EDK, the Polit-Forum Berne, the Institute of Federalism at the University of Fribourg, the Federal Chancellery and the ch.
