Renewed website and corporate design for SvizzeraEnergia
The program of the Swiss Federal Office of Energy, which promotes energy efficiency and renewable energies, gets a makeover and adopts a flexible strategy
A new era begins for SvizzeraEnergia, the program of the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE) that promotes energy efficiency and renewable energies.
To mark the occasion, the program is presenting a new program strategy, a well-structured and user-friendly website as well as a modern design.
An updated virtual presence
www.energieschweiz.ch/, https://www.suisseenergie.ch/ and www.svizzeraenergia.ch is SwitzerlandEnergy’s main publication platform.
It contains information and advisory offers for private individuals, companies and public bodies aimed at promoting the efficient and sustainable use of energy.
Switzerland-Liechtenstein pact on scientific innovation
Bern, Zurich and Aargau focus on fiscal innovation
The new website guides users intuitively through the various topics. Thanks to the new “Headless CMS” technology, other systems can be easily linked and digital content can be flexibly adapted.
Reduced, uniform and rigorous image
The new corporate design is reduced, uniform and rigorous. It conveys the SwitzerlandEnergy brand values of neutrality, trust, professionalism and relevance. The visual presentation follows the “guiding principles” personal, innovative, dynamic and sustainable (see new logo attached).
More flexible program strategy
The programmatic strategy for the 2021 – 2030 decade makes the SwitzerlandEnergy program more flexible in order to better respond to the increasing dynamism in the energy market.
The new strategy aims to focus content and activities and, to this end, replaces key themes with the following three priority action areas:
energy efficiency in buildings and renewable energy for private households
(see chapter 3 of the program strategy)
Mobility of private households and businesses.
Swiss export industry relies on innovation
More flexibility in promoting Swiss innovation
(see Chapter 4 of the Policy Strategy)
systems and processes in industry and services
(see Chapter 5 of the Policy Strategy)
These three fields account for 74% of final energy consumption in Switzerland.
A budget of 43.5 million francs
Accordingly, at least three-quarters of SwitzerlandEnergy’s total budget must be allocated to measures in these three areas. In 2021, the total budget amounts to 43.5 million francs.

The priority fields of action are complemented by other fields of action and cross-cutting themes, including the areas of grid and storage facilities, education and continuing education, cities and municipalities, communication, cooperation with the FOEN’s climate program, and digitization.
