Sui gradini di piazza di Spagna (in italian)

Sui gradini corrosi del tempo
eri lì a fare collane,
ti guardavo sperando
che tu ti accorgessi di me.
I miei occhi s’incontrarono con i tuoi,
un sorriso vedresti nei miei.
“Cosa scrivi sui chicchi di grano?”
“Il tuo nome, amore e felicità!”
“Voglio girare con te per il mondo,
non mi importa se sei un vagabondo,
ti darò amore e vita,
prendo le mie cose,
portami con te.”
Mi portasti a dormire sotto i ponti,
volevi la prova d’amore
ed io che volevo guarirti
mi trovai a drogarmi con te.
Ero schiava di quella eroina
che fu la nostra rovina
regalavo anche il mio corpo
per avere un po’ di quella polverina.
Adesso non ho più forza
e guardo fuori, lontano…..
so che il domani
per noi
non ci sarà più.
