Bio
Cristina Schenone-Bodrato is a Swiss and Italian citizen and lives in the Canton of St. Gallen. Raised in the Ligurian Apennines, on the border between Liguria and Piedmont, she began her professional career in Italy in the administrative, industrial, and tourism sectors.
After moving to Switzerland in 2006, she has gained diverse professional experience in companies active in the technological, industrial, manufacturing, distribution, and commercial sectors.
An entrepreneur and consultant, she is the founder and managing director of a company providing consulting and business support services.
In 2019, she co-founded the Swiss Federalism Association with the aim of promoting federalism, direct democracy, and the Swiss model internationally, with a particular focus on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises and promoting the Italian language beyond the Gotthard.
She is responsible for the association’s magazine, for which she oversees editorial coordination and regularly publishes articles and in-depth analyses on current Swiss affairs, federalism, and economic and social topics.
In her free time, she enjoys gardening and outdoor activities. She likes spending time with her family, traveling, photographing, reading, and discovering new cultures.
