Cristina Schenone-Bodrato is a Swiss and Italian citizen living in the canton of St. Gallen. Raised in the Ligurian Apennines, between Liguria and Piedmont, she began her professional career in Italy in the industrial and tourism sectors. After moving to Switzerland in 2006, she gained experience in companies active in the technology, industrial, and commercial sectors.

In 2019, she co-founded the Swiss Federalism Association to promote federalism, direct democracy, and the Swiss model internationally, with a particular focus on supporting SMEs and promoting the Italian language north of the Gotthard.

She is responsible for directing the association’s magazine and regularly writes some articles for it.

In her free time, she enjoys gardening and outdoor activities, as well as travelling, photography, and reading.
