Zurich hosts “AI, Art & Media and the New AI Economy”
International experts, artists, and professionals come together to discuss the economic, creative, and social transformations driven by artificial intelligence.

On June 11, 2026, the city of Zurich will host an important international event dedicated to the major transformations brought about by artificial intelligence in contemporary society. The conference, titled “AI, Art & Media and the New AI Economy,” will bring together scholars, artists, media professionals, and innovators to discuss the new economic, cultural, and creative frontiers of AI.
The event will take place at 6:00 PM at the Liceo Artistico Italo Svizzero in Zurich and will be held entirely in English. The initiative is organized by the Italian Cultural Institute of Zurich (Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Zurigo) in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Brixen Kultur, and Swiss Federalism – Digital Magazine.
Among the international speakers is Andrea Schenone, author of AI Wealth Machine, who will present some of the key ideas of the book and offer a reflection on how artificial intelligence is transforming:
- entrepreneurship and innovation
- media and creativity
- digital business models
- automation and productivity
- the future of work and value creation
According to the vision presented at the conference, AI is no longer merely a technological tool, but a true economic infrastructure destined to reshape entire productive, cultural, and social sectors, with an impact comparable to that of electricity or the internet.

- Prof. Massimiano Bucchi – Professor of Science, Technology and Society, Accademia dei Lincei
- Dr. Philip Di Salvo – Senior Researcher and Lecturer, University of St. Gallen
- Stefano Cagol – Contemporary artist and curator, participant in the 61st Venice Biennale
- Bruno Indelicato – Journalist, TX Group and Radio LORA, panel moderator
During the evening, the artistic performance “Signals to the Future” by contemporary artist Stefano Cagol will also be presented. He is currently participating in the 61st Venice Biennale.
