The Principality’s seventh conference on financial culture will host Thomas Gottstein, Antoinette Hunziker-Ebneter, Philipp Rösler and Premier Daniel Risch
The 2021 edition of the prestigious “Finance Forum Liechtenstein” will take place on September 9 in Vaduz, capital of the highly efficient Alpine state.
Prominent speakers at the event in the Principality, whose theme will be “The Future of Finance”, will include Credit Suisse CEO Thomas Gottstein, sustainability pioneer Antoinette Hunziker-Ebneter, former German Vice Chancellor Philipp Rösler and the Head of the Liechtenstein Government, Daniel Risch.
The “Finance Forum Liechtenstein” is the best-known dialogue and image platform for the financial center of the tiny but highly regarded monarchy ruled by Prince Hans Adam II.
The seventh edition of the conference will therefore be held in Vaduz on Thursday, 9 September 2021, starting at 1.30 p.m., and will focus on the current challenges facing financial service providers in Liechtenstein and Switzerland under the common concept of the “Future of Finance”.
The speakers at the conference, all of whom are of the highest profile, will highlight the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the financial world and discuss the policy, technology and regulatory framework for providers of these types of economic services.

The conference’s keynote address will be delivered by Liechtenstein’s Head of Government and Minister of Finance, Daniel Risch.
Afterwards, the learned Max Thinius will give a holistic look at the future of the financial industry.
Thinius is regarded as Europe’s leading futurologist and will take the audience on a virtual journey into the collective future: from how everyday life will change to why the financial industry will change.
After looking at the tomorrow ahead, Thomas Gottstein, CEO of Credit Suisse, will talk about the current opportunities and challenges for the Swiss financial center.
He has led the large, historic Swiss bank since February 2020 and previously held senior positions in wealth management and investment banking.
In the following panel discussion, moderator Reto Lipp and leading representatives of the financial centers of Liechtenstein and the Swiss Confederation will discuss the current challenges from their perspective.

The organizers expect several hundred executives, decision-makers and financial experts from neighboring countries such as Switzerland, Austria, Germany and Liechtenstein itself.
In the run-up to the conference, participants will be able to attend various workshops free of charge.
