Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis has appointed Peter Düggeli, SRF correspondent from the United States, as the new head of communications of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA).
Peter Düggeli will assume his function on April 1.

Peter Düggeli is, since 2015, a correspondent in the United States for the broadcasting company Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen (SRF) and is primarily responsible for reporting political news from Washington.
Previously, he worked for the current affairs program 10vor10 and as economic editor for the SRF news program.
