Accordingly, the Federal Council had decided at the end of 2019 to create a central coordination service at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).

CHF 7.8 million available for the period 2022-2024

With its decision of 21 April 2021, the Federal Council is making CHF 7.8 million available for the period 2022-2024, thereby strengthening the Swiss network.
The individual actors – first and foremost Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE) and the Export Risk Insurance (SERV), but also the other specialized federal agencies – will coordinate their activities with those of the relevant associations and expand them in a targeted manner.
Further measures were also discussed at the Export Round Table on January 26, 2021.

In particular, the introduction of a digital platform is planned, the purpose of which will be to facilitate an optimal and effective matching of supply and demand for large infrastructure projects.
In addition to this, SERV will get even closer to general contractors and project promoters who could purchase Swiss products and services.
At the same time, specific infrastructure and cleantech measures are planned by the S-GE as well as training courses for external network employees.

On-Site Actions of Swiss Business Hubs and Embassies

The early identification of projects, the constant nurturing of relationships and the improved support of exporters on location by means of Swiss Business Hubs and embassies are also key to winning contracts and standing out from international competition.
The results of the implementation of the measures will be taken into account in the dispatch on the promotion of Switzerland as a business location 2024-2027.
