The Basel-based research institute and the Ticino-based non-profit organization will work on the Swiss Triple Impact program to promote corporate sustainability
BAK Economics AG, a prestigious economic research institute with local offices in Basel, Zurich and Lugano, and Impact Hub Ticino, a Ticino-based non-profit organization with a global network and recognized by the United Nations as a facilitator of efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals through entrepreneurial and innovative activities, have signed an important partnership agreement.

Focus on the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda
The purpose of their newborn collaboration is to join forces in raising awareness in the Swiss economy of the Swiss Triple Impact program and the major issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda.
The Swiss Triple Impact program, of which Impact Hub Ticino is the official regional platform, is an initiative of B Lab Switzerland, with the support of the Swiss Confederation.

It is aimed at building a resilient, responsible and prosperous Swiss economy through a three-step accompaniment of the country’s companies to measure their contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and, thus, to identify the most important areas for improvement, while opening up new business opportunities and stimulating innovation.
The STI program aims to bring sustainability to the core of Swiss companies of all sizes and sectors to make it a standard activity.
For its part, BAK Economics is pleased to be able to contribute to this achievement by actively promoting the program within its network.
