“Innovabiomed”: 20 happening, 100 speakers, lots of networking

Everything is ready for the second edition of the event dedicated to the biomedical industry scheduled for 2 and 3 July at the Palaexpo Congress Centre of Veronafiere

A multidisciplinary approach to connect different skills and professionalism able to contribute to the growth of a sector which, although engaged in the front line of health emergencies, is by nature future-oriented.
With this mission, the second edition of “Innovabiomed”, the network place for biomedical innovation, will be held on 2 and 3 July 2021 at the Palaexpo Congress Centre of Veronafiere.
The event, organized by Veronafiere in collaboration with distrettobiomedicale.it., will take place totally in presence, in full compliance with anti-COVID regulations.
The pandemic has highlighted the importance of health as an indispensable value, demonstrating the resilience of a rapidly changing sector that must be able to provide rapid and effective responses to urgent issues.

COVID19 watershed between healthcare acceleration and slowdowns

COVID19 was on the one hand an accelerator of change and on the other led to inevitable slowdowns in some areas of the healthcare system.
It is fair to ask now how to overcome the logic of emergency by looking at the challenges of the medium and long term and how to build on what has happened, supporting innovation.
Through the exchange of experiences between the medical-scientific and business areas, “Innovabiomed” represents a useful opportunity to look at the next challenges of the sector with optimism and shed light on the innovations already applicable.
The program of the two days includes conferences, round tables, workshops and a business area with the presence of highly innovative companies.
Twenty appointments on the calendar with over 100 speakers among the top experts in the field, from the field of research to that of production.

Interesting innovations in the biomedical field

At “Innovabiomed” some of the most interesting innovations in the biomedical field will be presented, including: solutions for 3D printing and bio-printing, systems for the visualization and analysis of clinical data, technologies for orthopedics and rehabilitation, but also advanced solutions for the design and prototyping of medical devices.
Digital health, regenerative medicine, robotics, artificial intelligence, theranostics and precision oncology are just some of the topics that will be addressed during the various in-depth sessions.

Focus on economic, legal and financial aspects

There will be appointments dedicated to economic, legal and financial aspects (support for innovation, European funds for research, the relationship between universities and businesses) and focus on artificial intelligence, telemedicine and big data management.
Several international research projects will be presented that are destined to become the innovations of tomorrow.

10 thousand euro prize to the most innovative company present

The “Innovabiomed Award”, worth 10 thousand euros, will be assigned by the Scientific Committee to the most innovative reality among those present at the event, with particular attention to young companies.
“Innovabiomed” is sponsored by Veneto Region, Province of Verona, City of Verona, University of Verona, University of Padua, National Order of Biologists, Regional Federation of the Orders of Surgeons and Dentists of Veneto.
