The new world of work, with… mandatory home offices and virtual exchanges, in short so-called “smart working,” is challenging classical approaches to leadership: how are the principles of leadership and command changing?
How can leadership be democratized? And will companies and employees have to reinvent themselves? Both managers and employees are challenged to find new concepts to develop those companies whose human resources they embody
Attendees can expect exciting presentations, informative discussions, and interesting networking opportunities.

The speakers will examine the topic from different angles. After a welcome by Economy Minister Sabine Monauni, top manager Christoph Franz will explain why modern business leaders should place greater emphasis on conveying a sense of purpose and inspiring employees.
These is one of the absolute best-known managers in the German-speaking world. He has been chairman of the board of Roche Pharmaceutical Group since 2014 and previously headed Lufthansa and Swiss.
In his recently published book “Die digitale Pille” (“The Digital Pill”), as co-author Christoph Franz examined how digitization offers many new opportunities, using the evolution of healthcare systems as an example.

Lorenz and Martin Risch will then give an insight into how they are jointly managing the fortunes of the laboratory company that bears their name in times of the Coronavirus pandemic.
The two brothers are the second generation to run the family business and were named “Entrepreneur of the Year in Liechtenstein” in 2017. The Risch Group is the Swiss leader in SARS-CoV-2 analysis.
A special project is the cooperation with the Swiss start-up Ava. COO Nami Benz will demonstrate during the “Enterprise Day” what leadership approaches are needed in a usually small company launching into the market on the wave of an innovative idea and how the current environment affects these processes.
Ava has developed a smart bracelet for medical purposes. A new study supported by the Government of Liechtenstein and the royal house has shown that this tool can detect a COVID 19 infection at an early stage.

After a networking break, Hannes Gassert will explain how companies are run according to the concept of holocracy. He is a co-founder and member of the management board of the Swiss digital agency Liip.
The organization does not have a hierarchical management structure, so employees are autonomous and can actively participate in decision-making. In his talk, he will address the question of whether holocracy is a fad or a megatrend of the future.
The “Finance Forum Liechtenstein” will be on September 9 in Vaduz
In the chat with host Mona Vetsch, Andreas Wälti will talk about how he founded a startup in 2004 and seventeen years later manages more than 500 employees worldwide.
