Farmers need to be relieved of their administrative burden; wherever possible, the FOAG is helping to reduce bureaucracy for managers. To simplify data management, the agency commissioned by the federal government has launched the electronic application “My Agricultural Data Sharing”.
An asset for agate.ch label organizations
It allows operators to process their consent to transfer their data to third parties such as label organizations in the portal www.agate.ch at any time without additional administrative work.
Third-party organizations wishing to use shared data from the agricultural sector (e.g., farm data) submit an application to that effect to the Federal Office of Agriculture, indicating, among other things, the purpose of use.
Based on the information provided, in the application the farmers decide whether they consent to the transfer of their data.
