To this end, Fedpol works closely with the cantonal coordination offices.<br \/>\nThe UN Convention of 21 December 2006 aims to combat &#8220;enforced disappearances&#8221; throughout the world.<br \/>\nEnforced disappearance is defined as the deprivation of liberty by the state or with its approval. These acts, which are often concealed, often involve torture or the killing of the person concerned.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/swissfederalism.ch\/en\/the-presidency-helvetic-confederation-from-1848-to-present-day\/\"><strong>The Presidency of the Swiss Confederation from 1848 to the present day<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/swissfederalism.ch\/en\/swiss-monuments-hidden-treasure-to-be-exploited\/\"><strong>Swiss monuments?
