Virtual meeting on March 3 between Federal Councillor Ueli Maurer and Chinese Deputy Prime Minister Liu He on stock exchange, sustainable services and asset management<\/em><\/h3>\n

On March 3, 2021, Federal Councillor Ueli Maurer and Chinese Deputy Prime Minister Liu He exchanged views on current financial market issues in a virtual meeting.
\nCooperation in the area of financial markets is to be intensified and expanded.<\/p>\n

The two ministers examined current challenges, prospects for strengthening bilateral relations in the areas of the stock market, sustainable financial services and asset management. They also discussed the central bank’s digital currency.
\nRepresentatives of the respective central banks and financial market supervisory authorities as well as representatives of the Swiss financial sector also attended the meeting.<\/p>\n

A proactive relationship that began in April 2017<\/h3>\n

The recent virtual meeting of ministers is part of the dialogue of authorities and the financial sector that was initiated in April 2017 in Beijing and continued in April 2019.<\/p>\n

Switzerland-Indonesia: it’s cooperation in the four-year period 2021-2024<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

At the same time as the existing free trade agreement, the financial market relations of both countries are also to be further intensified.
\nThe opportunities created by the opening up of the Chinese financial market should be used for concrete cooperation projects.<\/p>\n
