The event, spanning 9 stages for a total of 1,175 km and over 18,000 meters of elevation gain, will feature professional women\u2019s teams from around the world, ensuring extensive media coverage and an enthusiastic audience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3025\" data-end=\"3742\"><span class=\"font-377884\"><strong data-start=\"3025\" data-end=\"3067\">Tour de Suisse 2026 (17\u201321 June 2026):<\/strong> The 89th edition of Switzerland\u2019s premier cycling race (UCI WorldTour) will introduce an innovative 5-day format, with two stages per day (one men\u2019s, one women\u2019s), starting and finishing in the same location, for a total of 10 stages. The \u201cPeaks of Emotions\u201d concept guarantees a unique experience for the audience, with daily regional changes, increased interaction, and promotion of women\u2019s cycling. Notable participants already confirmed include Tadej Poga\u010dar and Marlen Reusser. The detailed route (regions, elevations) will be revealed in spring 2026, but it remains a crucial test before the Tour de France, attracting international teams, fans, and media attention.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3744\" data-end=\"4428\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><span class=\"font-377884\"><strong data-start=\"3744\" data-end=\"3783\">Weltklasse Z\u00fcrich (27 August 2026):<\/strong> Held at Zurich\u2019s Letzigrund Stadium, this is the European finale of the Wanda Diamond League, one of the most prestigious athletics meetings in the world after the Olympics and World Championships. This initiative reinforces Switzerland\u2019s image as a neutral country, a promoter of dialogue, and a bridge for multilateral solutions, giving Bern a strategic opportunity to consolidate its role as an international facilitator in an era of global fragmentation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2173\" data-end=\"2525\"><span class=\"font-377884\">On the multilateral diplomacy front, 2026 will be a landmark year due to Switzerland\u2019s chairmanship of the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe), the third in Swiss history after 1996 and 2014.
