La vittoria dell’aglio e della cipolla<\/span><\/h1>\n

Stava arrivando l’inverno.
\nKerstin, una bambina dolce e vivace, aveva appena iniziato la prima elementare.
\nAmava fare sport e, con il suo appetito, non faceva mai storie a tavola.<\/p>\n

Ma un giorno, inspiegabilmente,
\ncominci\u00f2 a rifiutare aglio e cipolla.
\nOgni pasto diventava una battaglia:
\n\u201cNo!\u201d gridava con aria ostinata.<\/p>\n

La mamma, preoccupata e triste,
\nchiese alla maestra di raccontarle una storia
\nche parlasse proprio di questi due ingredienti
\nche Kerstin non voleva pi\u00f9 nella sua vita.<\/p>\n

E cos\u00ec la maestra inizi\u00f2\u2026<\/p>\n

In un piccolo villaggio, un tempo lontano,
\ni bambini decisero che non volevano pi\u00f9
\nn\u00e9 aglio n\u00e9 cipolla nel loro piatto.
\nConvinti e arrabbiati, si spinsero nei campi,
\ndecisi a sradicare ogni bulbo.<\/p>\n

Offesi e delusi,
\nl\u2019aglio e la cipolla radunarono le loro famiglie,
\nsi caricarono sulle spalle i piccoli
\ne, con passi lenti, lasciarono il villaggio.<\/p>\n

Inizialmente i bambini erano felici.
\n\u201cFinalmente!\u201d gridavano a tavola.
\nMa ben presto il cibo perse sapore,
\nogni piatto sembrava vuoto, senza amore.<\/p>\n

Arriv\u00f2 il freddo, l\u2019inverno rigido e cupo,
\ne i bambini si ammalarono ad uno ad uno.
\nDeboli, pallidi e tremanti, cercavano aiuto,
\nmentre le mamme e le nonne, preoccupate,
\nricordavano i rimedi di un tempo lontano:
\n\u201cL\u2019aglio e la cipolla ci proteggevano,
\nci tenevano forti contro ogni male!\u201d<\/p>\n

I bambini, pentiti e col cuore in mano,
\nchiesero scusa, piangendo amaramente.
\n\u201cPerdonateci, aglio e cipolla, tornate da noi!\u201d
\nE cos\u00ec, dopo molte suppliche,
\nl\u2019aglio e la cipolla rientrarono al villaggio.<\/p>\n

Da quel giorno, tutto cambi\u00f2:
\ni bimbi tornarono a mangiare con gusto,
\na correre e giocare spensierati per le vie,
\ngridando in coro:<\/p>\n

\u201cViva l\u2019aglio e la cipolla, amici della nostra salute e della nostra tavola!\u201d<\/p>\n

The garlic and onion victory<\/span><\/h1>\n

Winter was coming.
\nKerstin, a sweet and lively child, had just started first grade.
\nShe loved playing sports and, with her appetite, never made a fuss at the dinner table.<\/p>\n

But one day, inexplicably,
\nshe began to reject garlic and onions.
\nEvery meal became a battle:
\n\u201cNo!\u201d he would shout stubbornly.<\/p>\n

Mom, worried and sad,
\nasked the teacher to tell her a story
\nthat talked about the very two ingredients
\nKerstin no longer wanted in her life.<\/p>\n

And so the teacher began….<\/p>\n

In a small village, a time long ago,
\nthe children decided that they no longer wanted
\neither garlic or onion on their plates.
\nConvinced and angry, they went out into the fields,
\ndetermined to uproot every bulb.<\/p>\n

Offended and disappointed,
\nthe garlic and onion gathered their families,
\nthey loaded the little ones on their shoulders
\nand, with slow steps, left the village.<\/p>\n

Initially, the children were happy.
\n\u201cAt last!\u201d they shouted at the table.
\nBut soon the food lost flavor,
\neach plate seemed empty, loveless.<\/p>\n

The cold came, the harsh, bleak winter,
\nand the children became sick one by one.
\nWeak, pale and shivering, they sought help,
\nwhile the mothers and grandmothers, worried,
\nrecalled the remedies of long ago:
\n\u201cThe garlic and onion protected us,
\nkept us strong against all evil!\u201d<\/p>\n

The children, repentant and heartbroken,
\napologized, weeping bitterly.
\n\u201cForgive us, garlic and onion, come back to us!\u201d
\nAnd so, after much pleading,
\nthe garlic and onion returned to the village.<\/p>\n

From that day, everything changed:
\nthe children went back to eating with gusto,
\nto running and playing carefree in the streets,
\nshouting in chorus:<\/p>\n

\u201c Hurray for garlic and onion, friends of our health and our table!\u201d<\/p>\n
