At today&#8217;s meeting of the Inclusive Framework, Switzerland took action in this regard.<br \/>\nThe multilateral agreement is intended to avoid a tangle of national measures and thus create legal certainty. The OECD is to work out the details of the project by the end of 2021:<br \/>\nthe first pillar provides for a transfer of taxing rights to the states of commercialization. Companies with an annual turnover of more than EUR 20 billion and a profit margin of 10% will be taxed on the portion of their profits earned in the country of marketing. In Switzerland, the number of such companies is expected to be small;<br \/>\nThe second pillar provides for a minimum tax rate of at least 15% for internationally active companies with an annual turnover of more than 750 billion euros.
