730 years of Switzerland in the name of blockchain technology<\/h1>\n

The Federal Council put the TRD Act into full force on August 1 and issued the Ordinance on the Development of Distributed Registry Technology<\/em><\/h3>\n

At its meeting on June 18, 2021, the Federal Council of the Swiss Confederation enacted the Federal Law on the Adaptation of Federal Law to the Development of Distributed Register Technology, effective August 1, 2021.
\nThe corresponding umbrella ordinance will also enter into force on the same date. These legal acts enable the use of innovative TRD trading systems and increase legal certainty in the event of bankruptcy.<\/p>\n

Umbrella law will adapt Swiss law to blockchain<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

In September 2020, the House passed the Distributed Register Technology (TRD) umbrella bill, which makes specific adjustments to ten federal laws.
