The “Innovabiomed” biomedical exhibition in Verona on 2-3 July<\/h1>\n

European scientific research and the production of medical devices will meet at the Verona Congress Centre.<\/em><\/h3>\n

The second edition of “Innovabiomed”, the network place for biomedical innovation to be held at the Palaexpo Congress Centre in Verona, has been rescheduled for Friday 2 and Saturday 3 July.
\nThe aim of the event is to create opportunities for meetings and discussions between experts in the production of medical devices, professionals and researchers in the sector, connecting different disciplines, skills and professionalism.<\/p>\n

A safe yet totally in-person happening<\/h4>\n

The new dates will allow the event to be held entirely in person, under safety conditions that will encourage networking activities among sector operators.
\nInnovabiomed is organised by Veronafiere in collaboration with distrettobiomedicale.it, the reference portal of the Mirandola District, the most important biomedical hub in Europe.
\nThe programme includes conferences, round tables, workshops and a business area with the presence of highly innovative companies.
\nDigital health, robotics, 3D printing, regenerative medicine, artificial intelligence and precision oncology are just some of the topics that will be addressed during the two days with the contribution of over 50 speakers, among the top experts in the sector, selected by the event’s scientific committee.<\/p>\n

A market worth 16.7 billion euros in Italy alone<\/h4>\n

The sector in Italy generates a market worth 16.7 billion euros between exports and the domestic market and has 4,323 companies employing 94,153 people (data: Confindustria Dispositivi Medici).
\nThe health emergency linked to COVID-19 has highlighted how important the transversal knowledge underlying the development of biomedical devices and, in general, innovation in the medical field – from biology to electronics, from information technology to materials engineering – is for saving lives.
\nTechnological innovation contributes significantly to improving patient health, and medical devices are one of the most innovative sectors.
