{"id":104051,"date":"2021-05-27T10:49:20","date_gmt":"2021-05-27T10:49:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swissfederalism.ch\/e-buona-la-performance-delleconomia-digitale-in-svizzera\/"},"modified":"2021-06-02T08:56:05","modified_gmt":"2021-06-02T08:56:05","slug":"good-performance-of-the-digital-economy-in-switzerland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swissfederalism.ch\/en\/good-performance-of-the-digital-economy-in-switzerland\/","title":{"rendered":"Good performance of the digital economy in Switzerland"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Good performance of the digital economy in Switzerland<\/h1>\n<h3><em>Report of the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property shows high Swiss competitiveness compared to other countries in the area of non-personal data<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>At its meeting on May 26, 2021, the Federal Council took note of the report of the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI) on access to non-personal data in the private sector.<br \/>\nThe digital economy contributes significantly to Switzerland&#8217;s economic performance.<br \/>\nTo facilitate access to non-personal data generated in the private sector, the report calls for additional support measures and the creation of &#8220;common data spaces.&#8221;<br \/>\nData is at the heart of an economy that is increasingly digitized. Second to personal data, which catalyzes attention, non-personal data has a largely untapped potential.<br \/>\nThese include, for example, data on pesticide use on an agricultural plot, data on high-frequency trading in the financial sector, the inventory of a city&#8217;s tourist attractions or data generated by machine tools. These data play a central role in the development of innovative products and services.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/swissfederalism.ch\/en\/switzerland-liechtenstein-pact-on-scientific-innovation\/\"><strong>Switzerland-Liechtenstein pact on scientific innovation<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/swissfederalism.ch\/en\/bern-zuerich-aargau-focus-fiscal-innovation\/\"><strong>Bern, Zurich and Aargau focus on fiscal innovation<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/swissfederalism.ch\/en\/switzerland-will-have-an-ad-hoc-ambassador-for-the-science\/\"><strong>Switzerland will have an ad hoc ambassador for&#8230; Additional support measures<br \/>\n. Together with specialists, the IPI has developed a first set of model contracts to facilitate access to non-personal data.<br \/>\n. A data transfer contract, a subscription contract for data access, and a data exchange contract are available free of charge on the IPI website (in French, German, and English).<br \/>\n. In cooperation with the private sector and other relevant offices, the IPI will continue to propose additional support measures.<br \/>\n.
